Curriculum

The BSN degree program includes a comprehensive curriculum that increases the capacity of the nursing workforce by preparing students to become highly competent and compassionate BSN prepared registered nurses (RNs). Graduates will be prepared to successfully demonstrate competency on the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX-RN) and in direct patient care practice.

Foundational courses will develop student knowledge and comprehension, followed by integration and synthesis of complex core competencies across multiple domains of practice The rigorous pace of the four-semester program allows for knowledge acquisition, development of clinical judgment, and progressive practice performance expectations, and a focus on community.
