LCMC HEALTH - TULANE UNIVERSITY NURSE SCHOLARS PROGRAM
With Louisiana nursing shortages at an all-time high, LCMC Health and Tulane University have joined forces to make education and employment in healthcare more accessible to the New Orleans community. Available to 150 qualified scholars through 2029, the LCMC Health – Tulane University Nurse Scholars Program offers a tuition-free accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program
The LCMC Health – Tulane University Nurse Scholars Program will cover 100 percent of tuition costs, as well as select fees, for students who earn a BSN within 16 months of enrollment, then commit to a paid position for at least two years as a full-time registered nurse at a matched LCMC Health facility. Following graduation, the program provides scholars with a formal NCLEX exam preparation course to prepare the scholars to successfully sit for the NCLEX.
