LCMC Health - Tulane University Nurse Scholars Program
With Louisiana nursing shortages at an all-time high, Tulane University has joined forces with LCMC Health to make education and employment in healthcare more accessible to the New Orleans community. The LCMC Health – Tulane University Nurse Scholars Program offers a tuition-free accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program.
The LCMC Health – Tulane University Nurse Scholars Program will cover 100 percent of tuition costs, as well as select fees, for students who earn a BSN within 16 months of enrollment, then commit to a paid position for at least two years as a full-time registered nurse at a matched LCMC Health facility. Following graduation, the program provides scholars with a formal NCLEX exam preparation course to prepare the scholars to successfully sit for the NCLEX.
Scholars Network connects students, schools, and employers to address workforce shortages, alleviate student debt, and strengthen future workforce capacity. If admitted to one of our programs, you are guaranteed a full-time position and a significant amount of student loan repayment over the course of a work commitment with one of our health system partners.
