Biography
With more than 20 years of experience in the academic sector, Kady Lamb, M.S. brings a wealth of expertise in strategic planning, leadership & development, project management, facility/unit oversight, change management, workflow planning, and new processes & tools development.
Kady currently serves as the Assistant Provost for Finance and Operations and Chief of Staff to the Provost in the Office of Academic Affairs & Provost at Tulane University. She previously served as the Director of the College and Professional Schools Research Administration Services Unit (CAPS RAS) where she spearheaded a team of highly skilled staff who provided research administration support for the sponsored research portfolio of six independent units. She also served as the Assistant Director for Special Projects and Operations at Emory University’s Research Administration Services (RAS) central unit where she delivered well-rounded operational leadership, assessment, and functional subject matter expertise to university leaders, unit heads, and faculty.
Kady is an experienced strategic operations leader and project director valued for her success in driving the productivity and operational excellence of well-established organizations. Most distinguishing, she is especially successful in realizing substantial cost savings, increasing quality, and yield through robust strategies, process improvements, workflow development, and operations restructuring. Kady earned her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Wheaton College and her Master of Science in International Development from Tulane University School of Law.
