Our accelerated BSN prerequisites are an essential part of the admission process. Prerequisites ensure all students enter with a strong core curriculum and science foundation, regardless of their college experience. The time required to complete prerequisites is not factored into our 16-month accelerated BSN program.
Depending on your transfer credits, you may need to complete a few or all prerequisites before enrolling. You will work closely with your admission counselor to develop an academic plan detailing when and at which approved institution you will complete your prerequisites.
Prerequisite Course Requirements
Applicants must meet the following accelerated BSN prerequisite course requirements to be eligible for the accelerated BSN program:
• Completed at an approved, accredited institution
• Completed within seven years of applying to the accelerated BSN program
• Received a cumulative nursing major prerequisite GPA of 3.0 with a grade of ‘C’ or better in any one course
