Who is eligible for the NTC Track?

Current Tulane undergraduate students enrolled in Newcomb-Tulane College who have completed (or are near completion of) all NTC Core Curriculum and nursing prerequisite requirements.

Is there a separate application?

No. NTC Track students begin the process by speaking with their NTC academic advisor and submitting a Declaration Request online, rather than applying through an external portal.

What GPA do I need?

Applicants must have a minimum cumulative GPA that meets NTC thresholds. 

Can I retake a prerequisite if I don't earn the required grade?

Each nursing prerequisite may be repeated one time only. Earning a C- or below in any prerequisite course on two attempts makes an applicant ineligible for admission.

What happens after I'm accepted?

You will receive a Welcome Letter outlining the steps for completing your LSBN student license application, background check, drug screen, and health documentation before your first class.
