A Commitment to Excellence: Tulane Nursing Students Continue a 100% NCLEX Pass Rate While Serving Our Community

The Tulane University School of Medicine Program of Nursing is proud to celebrate another significant milestone as our graduates continue to maintain a 100% first-time NCLEX pass rate.

While this achievement reflects academic success, it represents something even more meaningful. It demonstrates the dedication of our students, the commitment of our faculty, and the strength of a program designed to prepare future nurses to provide exceptional patient care.

The NCLEX examination is the national licensing exam required for nursing graduates to enter professional practice. A 100% pass rate is a powerful indicator that students are not only mastering the required knowledge but are also developing the clinical judgment, critical thinking, and decision-making skills essential to the nursing profession.

Our graduates are already making a difference throughout the Greater New Orleans community. Every graduate accepted a registered nurse position in a New Orleans hospital, putting into practice the knowledge and skills they gained in the classroom and labs, and through their simulation clinical experiences. 

Our faculty play a vital role in each student’s journey. Their mentorship, expertise, and unwavering commitment create an environment that challenges, supports, and inspires future nurses. They guide our students, celebrate their milestones, and help them build the confidence and skills they need to become exceptional nurses 

Maintaining a 100% NCLEX pass rate is certainly an achievement worth celebrating, but the true measure of success can be found where our graduates are making the greatest impact: at the bedside, within healthcare teams, right here in New Orleans.
